What happens when you send someone a greeting card? Will he or she read the message on the card, and then throw it away...? Not with these cards!
These cards, with a print of my watercolour illustrations, are printed on paper with flower seeds in it. You can write a message on the paper and send it like a normal card. But there's more: you can put the card in a flowerpot with soil, and something nice will bloom! Isn't that a wonderful gesture to someone: a green message that comes alive!

How does it work? Put the paper in a flowerpot with soil, or in the earth in the garden.
Cover the paper with some soil, and moisten it every day. Depending on
circumstances and season, the seeds will start germinating after about a week.
Of course I tested it myself. The first little white flowers are showing! Here are the pictures:

Send a flowering message!
Wat gebeurt er meestal als je iemand een wenskaart stuurt? Diegene leest je berichtje, en gooit de kaart niet lang daarna weg... Maar niet met deze kaarten!
Deze wenskaarten, met een door mij gemaakte illustratie, zijn gedrukt op papier met zaadjes erin. Je kunt gewoon je groeten erin schrijven, en de kaart versturen, zoals je anders ook zou doen. Maar dan is het nog niet klaar! De ontvanger kan de kaart in een bloempotje doen, en dan bloeit er zomaar iets moois op! Is dat geen mooi gebaar naar iemand?

Doe het papier in een bloempot met aarde. Maak het elke dag vochtig. Afhankelijk van het seizoen en de omstandigheden, komen er na een week al kleine plantjes op. Natuurlijk heb ik het zelf getest. De groene plantjes zijn al aardig groot, en er komen nu zelfs kleine witte bloemetjes tevoorschijn!
